Almost all the pump manufacturers can deliver new dispensers with ATC equipped. Our system will be used especially for retrofit market.
Belgium was the first country who made it obligatory for new dispensers as from January 1th 2008, existing dispensers all have to be equipped latest December 31th 2014.Other countries are looking forward to implement a law.
Most countries are accepting that your station will be equipped with ATC, sometimes local approvals by W&M have to be done, we take care of this.
By implementing ATC in a dispenser, there has to be an indication put on the dial plate of the dispenser which marks: “at 15°C”.When customers are buying heating oil for their house, it’s also marked that delivery was made on 15°C.
A lot of petrol station already have been equipped with level gauges who also give the actual temperature of the fuel on the outprints of the gauging system or on the POS system.
Most types of dispensers will take between 4 and 8 hours for installation of each dispensers. So the station will stay partly operational.
When the fuel truck delivers product, in several countries the product is also compensated to 15°C. So the total number of liters which you have bought, could also be sold. When you sell without ATC, you will find out that your stock in your underground tanks will be different than your theoretical stock, most of the time you will have less product in stock than theoretically.
The check by W&M will be done at the same time when the calibration of the dispenser will be done, so practically no special extra costs.
When you have an average temperature of your fuel, you can use the “calculator” on our website to see what your losses are at the moment.
You can contact your dealer and ask him to check a database with all dispensers which have been equipped till now. This database is growing continuously, at the moment 90% of the dispensers could be retrofitted with ATC.
